City Wonders · Piazza Navona

The Pantheon walk that ends at the Spanish Steps

City Wonders takes you inside the Pantheon with a guide, and on its Highlights option walks on to Trevi, a gelato and the Spanish Steps. Pick that option: the $23 from-price is a Pantheon-only option that never reaches the Steps.

Pantheon & Rome Highlights Walk

About this experience

This listing hides four products under one title. Pantheon Entry (No Guide) is a ticket handover by the Pantheon fountain. Pantheon Guided Tour Only is a short guided visit inside. Pantheon & Rome Highlights is the full walk, and the only shared option that reaches the Spanish Steps. A private version of the Highlights walk is the fourth. The $23 from-price is the cheapest of them; the Highlights option was about $45 on a sample date.

On the Highlights walk you meet the City Wonders flag in Piazza di Tor Sanguigna, next to Piazza Navona, and spend 20 minutes in Navona, 30 inside the Pantheon with the guide, 15 at the Column of Marcus Aurelius and 15 at Trevi, then a 15-minute gelato stop and finally 20 minutes at the Spanish Steps. The Pantheon ticket is included on every option, which matters now that it costs €7 since July 2026. The Trevi basin ticket (a €2 ticket for the area by the basin) is not included.

Rated 4.4, below most tours here. The complaints are about finding the group and crowds at Trevi; the guides themselves get warm reviews. A passport or ID is mandatory for the Pantheon, and if the Pantheon closes for a religious service the guide explains it from outside. Groups go up to 25.

  • Pantheon ticket included on every option
  • Guided visit inside the Pantheon
  • Highlights option: Trevi, gelato and 20 minutes at the Spanish Steps
  • Ends at the Steps, with Spagna metro right there

What guests say

★★★★★

All of that was memorable. The history was amazing, and the Trevi fountain, and the Spanish steps were so romantic.

Such a great walking tour at an easy pace. We learnt a lot of info without it being boring or just 1000 facts. Clarissa was great. [...] Great way to begin your Rome trip!

We also got gelato as part of the tour which was really nice also. You get to see so many sites and learn about them and she knows the best ways to get around so it doesnt take you all day either.

Tips before you book

  • Choose "Pantheon & Rome Highlights" in the option list. Every other shared option ends at the Pantheon.
  • Find the meeting point the day before: Piazza di Tor Sanguigna sits just outside the north end of Piazza Navona. One guest lost 20 minutes looking.
  • Carry your passport or ID card. No ID, no Pantheon.
  • The walk ends at the Steps. Climb to Trinità dei Monti afterwards for the view.
